We also prioritize open communication with pet owners, keeping you updated every step of the way to give you peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s happiness and well-being are our top priorities, and we take pride in going above and beyond to create a safe and nurturing environment for them.

Terms of Service

  • PAWsome Companions, LLC specializes in dependable and compassionate pet sitting, dog walking, and related care services.
  • By using our services, clients agree to release PAWsome Companions, LLC—its owners, employees, and representatives—from liability for claims, except in cases of proven negligence or willful misconduct.
  • We reserve the right to decline services at our discretion.
  • Clients must report any service-related concerns within 24 hours of service completion and promptly settle all charges.
  • A 50% deposit is required no later than 72 hours before service begins. The remaining balance is due upon your return unless specific arrangements are made in advance.
  • Clients are responsible for providing all necessary pet care items, including harnesses, leashes, food, medications, litter boxes, and cleaning supplies.
  • Should additional pet care supplies be required, clients authorize PAWsome Companions, LLC to procure them on their behalf, with costs added to the final invoice and reimbursed upon their return.

Office & Service Hours

  • Office Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., seven days a week
  • Pet Care Service Hours: 5:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m., seven days a week

Booking Reservations

  • Weekly schedules are planned in advance. Requests submitted after 10:00 p.m. will be reviewed the next business day after 7:00 a.m.
  • While we strive to accommodate last-minute requests, specific time slots cannot be guaranteed.
  • We recommend providing at least 2–3 business days' notice for essential services like dog walks or drop-ins.
  • Scheduling Guidelines:
  • Requests for Wednesday services must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
  • Requests for weekend services must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Appointment requests should not be submitted via social media platforms. Services are scheduled within 2–3 hour windows (e.g., a walker may arrive between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for a midday walk). Specific timing is reserved for pets requiring medications or those with critical medical conditions.

Pricing

Payment Procedures

  • A 50% deposit is required 72 hours before services begin; the remaining balance is due upon your return.
  • We accept Zelle (preferred), major credit cards, cash, checks (with prior approval), Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, and Stripe.
  • Weekly service charges (Monday-Sunday) will be processed on Tuesday mornings.
  • Extended appointment charges will be billed to the card on file or added to the invoice.
  • Late payments exceeding 24 hours may incur a $25 late fee.
  • Gratuities are appreciated and directly benefit our team. Tips can be provided via cash, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or added to your invoice upon request.
  • Bookings will not be confirmed until the 50% deposit is received.

Cancellations

  • We strive to be flexible; however, cancellations, especially during holidays, may impact our ability to serve other clients and incur charges.
  • Non-Holiday Policy: Full refunds are issued for cancellations made at least 5 days before the service date. No refunds are available for cancellations within 5 days.
  • Holiday Policy: Full refunds are issued for cancellations made at least 8 days before the service date. No refunds are available for cancellations within 8 days.

Refunds

  • Eligible cancellations can be refunded or credited toward future services (credits are valid for six months).
  • No refunds or credits will be issued for late departures or early returns by the client.

Additional Fees & Surcharges

  • The initial new client consultation ('Meet & Greet') is $25. This fee covers the valuable time of our dedicated staff as well as any associated travel expenses.
  • Follow-up sessions will incur a fee of $25 for 30 minutes, with $10 for each additional 15 minutes.
  • Additional fees may apply for extended visits, extra cleaning, or emergency errands, starting at $20 per occurrence.
  • All reimbursable expenses, such as veterinary costs or pet supplies, will be added to the final invoice. 

Inclement Weather

  • Extreme weather or unexpected events may cause service delays or cancellations. Clients will be promptly notified, and services will be substituted or credited accordingly.
  • For safety reasons, outdoor activities may be adjusted, with indoor care provided as an alternative.
  • Clients must provide a local emergency contact with home access in case of weather-related issues or emergencies.

Home Access

  • To ensure smooth and reliable care for your pets, clients are required to provide a secure lockbox or an alternative access method, such as a door or garage code. Additionally, we request a copy of your house key as a backup in case of lock failures, ensuring uninterrupted access to your home and the well-being of your pets.
  • A $20 fee will apply for key pickup or return, unless the client resides locally.
  • Access codes and alarm details must always be updated in the client profile.
  • Reasonable parking arrangements must be provided. Paid parking expenses will be added to the invoice.
  • Clients must notify us in advance if others (e.g., housekeepers, friends) have home access during our service period.
  • Liability is waived when others are present unless they are listed as emergency contacts.

Client & Pet Information

  • Clients are responsible for updating profiles with accurate emergency contacts, veterinary details, and care instructions.
  • For help with account access or password resets, contact us directly to avoid duplicate profiles.

Vaccinations

  • Pets must be current on mandatory vaccinations and licenses.
  • Clients are liable for any expenses due to incomplete vaccination compliance.
  • Submit vaccination records via email to: info@pawsomecompanionsllc.com.

Veterinary & Emergency Care

  • In emergencies, we will contact clients immediately. If unavailable, we will seek care from the designated veterinarian or nearest clinic.
  • Veterinary expenses must be reimbursed promptly.
  • A $50 fee applies for a team member to remain with the pet during examinations. Transportation is free.

Job Sharing

  • To ensure consistent care, job sharing with third parties is not allowed during service periods. Unauthorized sharing may result in termination of services without refunds.
  • Exceptions require prior approval and a signed “Shared Liability” agreement. 

Additional Terms

  • PAWsome Companions, LLC is not liable for incidents resulting from client-provided instructions or pet behavior.
  • By using our services, clients consent to the use of pet photos/videos for business purposes. All media remains our property.
  • Backup team members may be assigned in emergencies to ensure uninterrupted care.

Pet Transportation

  • Pets must be healthy and vaccinated to use transportation services.
  • Clients are responsible for veterinary costs incurred during transit emergencies, excluding emergency transport to a vet clinic.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or external factors.

Termination of Agreement

  • Services may be terminated if a pet or home is deemed unsafe. In such cases, pets may be transferred to our boarding facility or another for their safety, with all charges borne by the client.

Bonding & Insurance

  • PAWsome Companions, LLC is fully bonded and insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI) to protect your pets and property.
  • Client information is treated with strict confidentiality, except for pets’ photos shared on our social media accounts.

Bed & Biscuits

Our 'Bed & Biscuits' service is thoughtfully designed to provide personalized, loving care for your cherished pets, ensuring they remain happy and comfortable in the familiar surroundings of their own home. In the evening, one of our reliable and trusted sitters will visit between 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm to make certain your furry friends are well-prepared for a cozy and restful night. During this dedicated 2-hour visit, we attentively handle everything your pet may need, including feeding, refreshing their water bowls, cleaning up any waste, providing potty breaks, going for walks (for those leash-trained pets), and, of course, showering them with plenty of affection, attention, and care.


The following morning, we’ll make sure to return for a focused 45-minute visit to gently serve breakfast, take care of a potty break, and offer additional one-on-one care to ensure they start their day feeling loved and attended to. This tailored service is ideal for pets who thrive on extra love and attention during bedtime hours but don’t necessarily require an overnight stay to feel secure and content.
