At PAWsome Companions, we’ve streamlined our booking process to be straightforward, transparent, and tailored to your needs. Whether you require daily dog walks, pet sitting during your absence, overnight care, or specialized pet services, our aim is to ensure that both you and your pets feel at ease, confident, and fully prepared before we begin.

Each new client enjoys a personalized onboarding experience, allowing us to get to know your pets, understand their unique requirements, and deliver the highest standard of professional care.


STEP 1: BECOME A CLIENT

Complete our New Client Registration Form to tell us about yourself, your pets, and the services you’re interested in.

This information allows us to determine whether our services are the right fit for your household and helps us prepare for your consultation.

STEP 2: SCHEDULE YOUR NEW CLIENT CONSULTATION 

Once your registration form has been reviewed, we’ll contact you to schedule a New Client Meet & Greet Consultation.

During the consultation, we will:

✔ Meet you and your pets

✔ Learn about your pets’ routines and personalities

✔ Review feeding schedules and medications

✔ Discuss home access procedures

✔ Review service recommendations

✔ Answer any questions you may have

✔ Ensure we’re the perfect fit for your pet care needs

Consultation Fee: $25

The consultation fee is credited toward your first completed service.

STEP 3: SET UP YOUR CLIENT PORTAL

After your consultation, we’ll guide you through setting up your client account.

Your client profile helps us keep important information organized and accessible for our care team.

Information we may collect includes:

✔ Home access instructions

✔ Feeding routines

✔ Medication instructions

✔ Behavioral notes

✔ Care preferences

STEP 4: RECEIVE YOUR PERSONALIZED CARE PLAN

Every pet is unique, which is why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pet care.

Based on your pets’ age, activity level, medical needs, and routine, we’ll recommend the service schedule that best supports their health, safety, and happiness.

We may discuss:

✔ Visit frequency recommendations

✔ Exercise requirements

✔ Puppy care schedules

✔ Senior pet needs

✔ Medication administration

✔ Overnight care options

✔ Specialized care requirements

STEP 5: CONFIRM YOUR RESERVATION

Once your service plan has been finalized, we’ll prepare your reservation.

To secure your booking:

✔ A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking

✔ Reservations are not guaranteed until the deposit is received

✔ The remaining balance is due prior to the start of services

✔ Booking confirmations are sent once all requirements have been completed

Early booking is strongly recommended, especially during holidays and peak travel seasons.

🐕 How long does the onboarding process take?

Most new clients can typically complete the onboarding process within a few days, depending on scheduling availability and how quickly the required information is submitted to us. This timeframe may vary slightly based on individual circumstances and responsiveness.

🐾 Is a new client consultation required?

Yes. We require a consultation for all new clients to ensure we can safely and appropriately care for your beloved pets in the best possible manner.

💚 Can I book services before completing registration?

No. New client registration and consultation are required before scheduling any of our services. We look forward to meeting your beloved pets and discussing your specific needs in detail to ensure we are the perfect fit for you and your furry friends! Our goal is to provide personalized care that meets the unique requirements of each pet and their owner.

💲 Why is there a $25 consultation fee?

The $25 fee helps cover our sitter’s time and travel for your in-home consultation. This fee is credited toward your first booking, so it goes right back to you once you become part of our PAWsome family.

🐾 What happens if my sitter has an emergency?

Your pets will never be left without care. Our Backup & Emergency Coverage Plan ensures seamless, uninterrupted service. In the rare event of an emergency, a trusted team member is always ready to step in. Each client is paired with two dedicated team members, not only guaranteeing consistent care but also fostering a bond between your pets and their caregivers. 


  • To ensure your pets stay safe and comfortable, avoid scheduling elective surgeries or non-urgent veterinary appointments (like vaccinations, spaying/neutering, or dental cleanings) within two weeks of your departure. Unexpected reactions could arise, and addressing them in your absence may not be possible, potentially putting your pet at risk.
  • Before you leave, take a moment to review and update your pet care instructions and emergency contact details. Double-check phone numbers and consider designating a new emergency contact if needed.
  • Please verify that the lockbox is in good working condition and contains a functional house key to ensure seamless access to your home.
  • Inform your neighbors about our scheduled visits while you're away. Feel free to share our contact information with them should they have any questions or concerns about your pets or property.
  • Maintain consistency in your pet's diet for at least two weeks leading up to your trip. Ensure there’s enough food to last for the duration of your time away. For perishable items, such as fresh lettuce or live crickets for reptiles, let us know in advance so we can help manage their supply accordingly.
  • Sharing a trip itinerary is optional but appreciated. If you do, please include the names and contact details of your accommodations for quick reference in case of an emergency.
