We take pride in our standard processes, and cleanliness is at the core of our sitter training. Respecting your home means leaving it just as spotless as we found it!
Cleaning Wet Food Dishes 🧽
We thoroughly clean and dry all wet food dishes after every mealtime. Any empty wet food cans are rinsed and placed in your recycling bin. If you prefer, you’re welcome to leave out extra dishes and utensils. Rest assured, everything will be cleaned, dried, and neatly organized for your return.
Cleaning Sinks 🚰
When preparing wet food for your pets, we ensure the sink is cleaned to avoid lingering smells or residue. We spray and rinse the sink, use the garbage disposal, or wipe it clean with paper towels. Note, we only handle pet-related items—any personal dishes left in the sink will remain unless you request otherwise. If needed, we’d be happy to assist!
Cleaning Up Pet Messes 💩
Pet messes are cleaned promptly and thoroughly. Each sitter is equipped with a cleaning kit that includes paper towels, Nature’s Miracle cleaner, nitrile gloves, and more. For messes that require extra care—like those on rugs or blankets—we’ll inform you in our update. We can even place soiled items in your washing machine and transfer them to the dryer during our next visit, always seeking your approval beforehand.
Daily Litter Box Cleaning 🐈
We scoop litter boxes daily as part of our service, ensuring your home remains fresh and odor-free. Used litter is disposed of in your designated outdoor trash bin. We’ll also replace litter as needed, maintaining a consistent level to ensure your cat feels comfortable using it.
Cleaning Around The Litter Box 🧹
We regularly tidy up any litter tracked outside the box, as we understand how easily it can spread. In cases where the area is obstructed by rugs, blankets, or other items, we’ll clean as best as possible and notify you if additional attention is needed.

Keeping the area around your pet’s food dishes clean is essential to prevent pests like ants or insects. After mealtime, we ensure all crumbs and debris are cleared, leaving the space hygienic and safe for your furry friends.

We’ll collect your mail, newspapers, and packages during each visit. For perishable items like food deliveries, we’ll take the extra step of placing them in your refrigerator to keep them fresh.

Should we find a delivery notice from FedEx or UPS requiring a signature, we’ll send you a photo and confirm whether you’d like us to sign on your behalf.

Taking Trash Cans To The Curb 🗑️
We’re happy to take your trash cans to the curb on collection day! You’ll find a Trash Day Reminder in your welcome packet, or our sitter will confirm this detail during your intake process and make a note in your profile.
