The Meet & Greet

Before any pet care services commence, it is absolutely essential for your selected pet care provider to take the time to get to know your pets on a personal level and gain a comprehensive understanding of their unique needs and preferences. This is why we highly recommend arranging a “meet and greet” session prior to the initiation of any services. This initial meeting serves as a critical opportunity for your dog walker or pet sitter to familiarize themselves with your pets, allowing them to gather vital information about your animals' specific requirements. Additionally, it plays a significant role in establishing and nurturing a sense of trust and comfort between you, your pets, and the caregiver.
During this important meeting, the safety and well-being of your pets will be paramount, along with fostering a positive connection with them. The caregiver will reach out to you to coordinate a convenient time for the visit to your home. This collaborative approach allows you to engage in an open dialogue about every aspect of your pet’s care, from feeding routines and exercise habits to any behavioral quirks or health considerations. It ensures that everyone involved is aligned and prepared to meet your expectations, paving the way for a smooth and successful partnership.
If you have opted for dog walking services, the dog walker will also take your dog for a brief assessment walk during this meeting. This short excursion is not only a chance for your dog to stretch their legs but also an invaluable opportunity for the caregiver to observe your dog’s behavior in a real-world setting. This interaction helps the walker gauge how well they connect with your furry friend and allows them to tailor their approach to your dog’s personality and energy levels. Ultimately, this thorough process is all about ensuring that your beloved pet receives the highest standard of care possible, promoting their happiness and well-being while you are away.

What Happens During Your Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Visits
- Upon our arrival, we will first greet your pet, ensure their well-being, and provide the care as per your instructions.

- We will conduct a final check before departure to ensure the safety and well-being of your pet and home until the next visit.
- We will also do a final "pet count" and double check any & all gates and doors to ensure they are securely locked.
