Additional Fees

  • New Client Consultation: $25 one-time fee. This covers administrative setup and sitter compensation, and will be credited toward your first booked service.
  • Additional Dogs (Dog Walks & Hikes): $3 per extra dog.
  • Households with More Than (3) Pets: Households with more than (3) pets will incur a $5 additional pet fee for all services, except for overnight stays. In such cases, an additional $7 per dog (excluding birds and fish) is charged for each dog.

Before we begin any new service, we prioritize establishing a foundation of trust and understanding. Our new client consultation and behavior assessment—often referred to as a 'meet & greet'—allows us to connect with you, your pets, and your home. This crucial step ensures that we deliver care that is perfectly aligned with your pet’s routine and personality.


During this visit, we will thoroughly review your pet’s daily needs and engage in discussions about their behavior, health, and preferences. We’ll also familiarize ourselves with the layout of your home, including safety procedures. To enhance both security and convenience, we offer a complimentary lockbox for key storage once you book our services.

 

For this personalized consultation, we charge a $25 fee, which compensates your assigned sitter for their time, travel, and vehicle expenses—ensuring you receive reliable, professional service. The great news? This fee is fully credited towards your first booked service, providing added value and flexibility for you. If you wish to schedule an additional consultation, a fee of $15 will apply. At PAWsome Companions, every detail matters. Our aim is to create a smooth, stress-free start to your pet’s care experience, giving you complete peace of mind from day one.

Drop-In Visits

For pets who thrive on routine, our flexible daily visits provide the perfect balance of care, companionship, and consistency—all in the familiar comfort of home

Our drop-in visit services are designed to give your pets the consistent care and attention they deserve—right in the comfort of their own home. We offer 1 to 4 visits per day, ensuring every furry family member receives the right amount of love, companionship, and care to stay happy and healthy while you’re away. 

Each visit includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, litter care, playtime, and affection—along with any special instructions you provide. Beyond our standard schedule, we’re happy to customize visits based on your pet’s individual personality, energy level, or special requirements. With us, your pets receive dependable, personalized care from a team that treats them like family. Whether it’s a quick check-in or multiple visits throughout the day, you can count on us to keep your pets comfortable, content, and loved while you’re away. Because every pet is unique, we tailor visit schedules to their specific needs:

**Our 15 & 20 minute visits are exclusively available to clients residing within a 10-mile radius. If you're located outside our area, a minimum appointment length of 30 minutes is required.**

Here’s a sample schedule for multiple daily visits:

  • 2 visits a day: 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM (visits are spaced approximately 12 hours apart).
  • 3 visits a day: 8:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.
  • 4 visits a day: 8:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 8:00 PM.

That’s why our home-based overnight sitting services are designed to provide the comfort, care, and companionship your pet needs—all from the safety of their own home. Our professional sitters stay in your home to ensure your pet feels secure and relaxed in familiar surroundings. Whether you need coverage for a single night or extended stays, we offer flexible options ranging from 10–24 hours to full-time live-in care. Throughout each visit, your sitter provides consistent attention, routine care, and plenty of love and snuggles.

 

Keeping pets in their own environment helps reduce stress and maintain their regular schedule. We’ll follow your feeding, walking, and medication routines while adding in playtime, enrichment, and affection to keep your pet happy and comfortable. You’ll also have peace of mind knowing your home is being respectfully cared for by a responsible, trusted sitter. To keep you connected, our pet care app, Walkies, sends real-time updates, photos, videos, and detailed visit notes—so even when you’re away, you’ll always know your furry family member is safe, content, and well cared for.

Overnights marked with a ** are classified as "almost overnight" stays. For these bookings, your sitter typically arrives in the late afternoon or early evening and leaves the next morning. Keep in mind that your sitter may need to step out to attend to other clients during this time. While we don’t enforce strict arrival times, you have the flexibility to decide when you’d like your sitter to arrive.

When your pet requires specialized medical care, you can count on our experienced, Fear Free Certified team to provide gentle, precise, and professional support right in the comfort of your home. Medical routines can be stressful for both pets and owners — we’re here to make them calm, consistent, and stress-free. Our sitters are certified in pet first aid, CPR, and advanced care procedures, following your veterinarian’s exact instructions to ensure safe and effective care every time.

Accepted Forms of Payment

We strongly recommend using Zelle for payments, as it is our preferred method and incurs no additional fees. We also accept cash and checks, subject to prior approval.


Please note that if you choose to pay via Apple Pay, Square (with major debit or credit cards), Cash App, or Venmo, a processing fee of 3% to 3.5% will be applied to your total invoice.
